I think the invitations probably came more from Michelle Williams than Oprah. Michelle was at Kells Premier of Trapped 2 summers ago, so it seems like Kells and Michelle are decent friends. I hope Kells blew Mary a few kisses as he walked by. LOL

Looking at these pictures (even though I don't see any photos of them together) I'd say that Oprah is trying to open up... She's far from ghetto, but is trying to earn her ghetto points.

But yesterday I was watching her show and she had woman on discussing the abusive man in her life. Then Oprah showed a video tape of a brother beating up on his white girlfriend. That was a bit shocking.

I still think that Oprah dislikes black men on one level. So I'm trying to figure out why she's on the R Kelly bandwagon now????

Well, it was Oprah's event so she could invite anyone she pleased. Maybe, unlike the Sun Times, she follows the law and presumes innoncence until proven guilty.

Did Oprah sent him invitation directly? I thought she had not done that personally. If so....you never know what's inside her, maybe she's become a more broad-minded person than before now that she's in her 50s.
