Thread: R. Kelly won't be house hunting in D.C.

i thought i would post this because some slow folks might still believe that rumor...

Looks like singer R. Kelly won't be apartment hunting on P Street after all, contrary to Monday reports that the artist was trying to find a place to live in the nation's capital.

UrbanTurf, an online D.C. real estate guide, cited a Facebook status update, supposedly from R. Kelly, which read, "Anyone who knows anyone in D.C. have any good suggestions for finding an apartment? Looking for a one bedroom in capitol hill. help me please."

When the Washington Examiner's Yeas and Nays team contacted R. Kelly's representative about this, the representative said the Facebook account was a fake and the Grammy Award winner has no plans to move to the District.

That's not to say he won't be visiting. The "I Believe I Can Fly" singer has two concerts in the area this week. He'll be at First Mariner Arena in Baltimore on Friday and at the Verizon Center on Saturday.

Smh. I was hearing from Ann that the rumor was fake before I heard the actual rumor. I never would have known about it. Stupid. Really not believable for a second

He is "Chi till I die" ... thats his home ... facebook should scrap these fake accounts or set something up similar to the verification tick on twitter
