Thread: R. Kelly Set to Perform 'Sign Of A Victory' at FIFA World Cup

I'm getting excited for him now because people are really starting to talk about it. I'm hearing it on my radio stations as the DJs and radio personalities break their "daily news". You know when they talk about what's going on in the music/entertainment biz. They're starting to buzz about this song and this performance and it feels good to have his name in people's mouths for something good.

I have not heard it yet but I am sure it will be a hit for Rob.

Great news. Thanks Rey. Soccer is not as popular there as elsewhere, but the World Cup IS, I believe. The Africa tour, now the World Cup ceremony performance. It's been a helluva period of big things happening to him.

Really great song, I've been listening to it all day. The more i listen to it the more i love it.

R Kelly attends church before flying to South Africa Lifestyle &Amp

Indiana(ZimEye)Prominent singer, song writer and world arts icon, R Kelly attended a church service before flying to South Africa, ZimEye can reveal.

The singer attended the Family Christian Center church in Munster, Indiana last week. After the church service, he held a discussion with the Pastor of the church Steve Munsey before leaving the centre.

Speaking on US television, Steve Munsey also confirmed the meeting.

He is scheduled to perform at the official opening of the World Cup and sing the function’s anthem at the FIFA opening ceremony. Joining the RnB singer will be the Soweto Spiritual Singers to sing ‘Sign Of A Victory’ on June 11 at the Johannesburg Soccer City Stadium.

“I feel blessed that Sign Of A Victory was selected to be part of the 2010 FIFA World Cup – the FIFA World Cup is an event that brings the world together and inspires us to be and do the best we can, it’s this uplifting feeling that I tried to capture in the song,” he said.
