Thanx. I know I'll be shedding tears at certain pages reading about the death of his mother. Since I first learned about how he found that out in the Vibe interview, it's stuck in my head...Must have been an excruciating experience, the kind of experience that makes one fear the flashbacks, but keep on having them.

Yeah i am dying to read it as much as everyone else is here. His life is really private to the avg fan, and now im glad we will get to hear HIS STORY.

It's ashame how many people just love to see people fail. Fuck the haters I don't even know why I just read them comments. I don't remember the last time I fed into reading into that negative shit. I wish Untitled was successful so R. Kelly can have the haters even more mad.

The fact that David Ritz who is argueably one of the best music writers of all-time says a lot about R. Kelly's statue and what Ritz thinks of R. Kelly's place in music. Just look at the artists he's written about, heck I think he wrote a Bob Marley biography they didn't even mention. Those are the best of the best on Ritz's list. It should be a fantastic read!

I'm excited that R. Kelly is going to have this book out! I can't wait so that we can understand more about his upbringing and where he comes from (rather than the surface things we know). I hope they make it in audio with R. Kelly doing the audiobook part of it of course.

It is disappointing that they have all these fakes on VH1 specials and other channel specials and life bios but the King of r&b the one who puts the R. in R&B hasn't had one yet. I know the controversies and even though he is the world's greatest, if the scandal and trial didn't come up, he would be #1 among the nation UNIVERSALLY among everyone. I say this and point out that he was going to headline the Olympics and the Best of Both World's album (which is heavily underrated even though it went platinum) was hyping up to be the BIG thing (which Kellz of course made it great). I hope R. Kelly does a concert soon in Southern California again and a tour (as I missed the last one a couple of months ago). Thx for reading.

I'd be interested to hear about his childhood, but I doubt he will be frank and expose the worse parts of what he went through. I suspect he doesn't want to dig in the dark too much, so to speak. Which, of course, is a very human trait.

Lacking that, I hope he will describe what the songwriting process is like for him in some detail. What inspires him, and so on.

R. Kelly’s memoir, as yet untitled, is scheduled for release by SmileyBooks in early 2011.

Been waiting for any updates on the book. Wondering if the "early" means this spring...I'm sure I'm not alone. Ever since I heard the news right here, I've been thinking about the book coming out.
