next january believe it or not marks the 20th year anniversary of born into the 90's

then you got new projects including the sparkle soundtrack so it is a real good tie in from a personal side and business side.imo

Given the fact that Rob seems to shy away from media interviews unless he's controlling the presentation/spin, I wonder what strategy he and his people have mapped out in terms of promoting the book? His past drama and the Toure debacle must make him a little gun-shy about interviews and the direction it can take. Not to mention any potential messiness coming from Drea's reality show.

Well, how about this? Simply avoiding another Toure. Many decent interviewers out there, so...

Doing carefully chosen interviews and then hitting the road for some book signings, that'd be good enough.
I have a hunch that it will be done along with album promotion.

I'm curious about how the promotion trail for the book will play out too. I have a feeling he might do another RKWeekend which would coincide with the album release. It could be kind of like a Behind the Music special but also include elements about the album.

I wouldn't throw out the possibility of another televised interview just because of the Toure situation. That whole debacle was really just bad management on Kellz team's end and the interview shouldn't have happened in the first place. I actually think Kellz could do another televised interview. Probably with the publisher, Tavis Smiley, but the questions would have to be reviewed thoroughly.

Hopefully, we start getting news about the book soon. The release is right around the corner.
