^^^ true they have lost it...the Grammys)
grammys are fixed as are these other shows and I could care less.
i mean you win when your fans support your work. awards are nice,etc.. however they don't carry the weight you would think
i mean in the acting game Denzel Washington is the exception of a Multi Winner, because Cuba Gooding Jr is the norm and dude ain't been no where near that level since.
you need the people to support you, that award will collect dust, but your skills and talent and being able to bring it to a stage is where it is at.
depends on who the average head is you talking about.
in truth most heads ain't even talking about the grammys like that. i mean it means something and then it doesn't. carlos santana ain't even talked about like that and he tied michael jackson's record 10 years back and he rode that wave and then what?
its actually a nice token comeback storys for vets, but those awards get more hype for newbie acts. i mean it spikes sales.
To be nominated for " When a woman's love" was amazing, the album was just beginning to surface and the song had crazy airplay with urban stations!
2011 Grammy's should net him that trophy!
R. Kelly > Grammys.
R. Kelly > any and all awards shows
