Thread: R.Kelly is Marvin Gaye of Our Generation

Good point Marv03.....all you see in todays media is character assasinations (SP?)......poor R. Kelly has been headhunted since the scandel.......Marvin also wasnt revered as a legend untill his passing.....so lets give R. more time to keep putting out more music.....i hope he heads in a different direction.....but only time will tell

he's the most talented out there right know nobody can be compared to him simply the best, he's real he's sexy he's romantic he's funny he's got it all...

If he did a socially conscious album and was able to release the MV project, it would cement his legacy. That's why I think this next album is so important because if he gets it right watch the awards come flooding in. If there's anything media loves more than a celeb in trouble is one that can make a comeback.

I definately agree with this article. A lot times ppl are so wrapped up in an artists personal life that they forget about the artist and their accomplishments and value to the music. I have always believe if they made a movie about Marvin Gaye the Robert could and should accept the role because the man has Marvin in him and the fact that are so many similarities between the two of them would make for a great movie. The man is a Genius thats why so many hate on him and talk shit is because they are scared of not having the talent that he has had and that he will continue too have. No other R&B Male artist has been able to do what he has done or will do. Thats my opinion and I think its time for the world to give him his just do's because despite the turmoil that has been displayed in his personal life he always been honest about it if you listen to the lyrics and not the beat, and he has shown determinaton and dedication to his Love of his music and the hardwork he has put behind his craft and talents.
