Thread: R. Kelly on Jimmy Fallon

^Yeh, he wasnt nervous, but as Maxxx said he was keeping it strictly business. I noticed the same thing last year on Jimmy Kimmel, we all know Rob loves to talk but when he is on these mainstream/industry shows usually he just puts down his performance, keeps it bashful, and keeps it moving.

Its the less is more approach.

Rather than talking nonsense to folk he has very little in common with, he just do what it do, and ducks out. Often you will see folk over the years switch up their whole personna and become unrecognisable by the end of it. Again Maxxx touched on this by saying Rob has never sold out.

I mean which dude could go from working with an International body like FIFA on 1 day, to working with a random Guy called Lil Chuuuch from somewhere in Southside Chicago the next.

Oh, Rob is showin' off now. He is reminding everyone that not only can he write a song like nobody else out but he can SANG the ish out of it too!!! That's a BAAAAD man right there!

Damn, those performances were brilliant... his vocals were on point, he was classy yet fresh. Soulful and passionate. A true artist. The real R. Kelly is back.

You got a point. I think it's also because he is indeed media-shy. Far from a social butterfly when the cameras are rolling and maybe stays the same in other industry events as well even when it's off-camera.

R loves the camera and isn't afraid to talk, problem is, you allready know where and what must media are gonna ask him?

when he had the trappped in the closet special with that indy channel dude he was very relaxed and composed.

R is seasoned pro and he is playing ball and winning now, jive/sony is spending bucks on this project

Maybe I missed it....but when did he have the opportunity to talk on camera anyway??
