I love seeing Rob in concert but these Radio Station Holiday concerts kinda suck. Rob will be the last one to perform and you'll only get about 1 hours of performance time and I don't care for any of the other acts performing.

So after about 6 or 7 performances... it was a long ass intermission it seemed like it was more than 20 minutes. At first the DJ was playing music to keep the crowd hyped but instead of playing the actual songs they just played intrumentals with built in hooks. Did that for like first 7 minutes or so.. Than the rest of the time it was complete silence and the crowd started to get aggrivated booing and nothing happened. Most of the arena was starting to leave to go to bathrooms or something. And when they came back and still saw no one stage they started booing again. Smoke started coming on the stage as if something big was about to happen but no one paid it no mind. 5 Minutes past and they was booing again I looked down and a split second the crowd went nuts... I saw a man standing on the stage with Shades, Red Jacket, looked fresh as hell with the sideburns well lined up. First thing I yelled was Jeezy because he has the same look minus the nice cut lol. I then I looked again and I was like wtf that's R. Kelly (Mind you I had some decent seats he just looked like Jeezy to me because he had a fitted cap on and thats who I was expecting to see at first lol) and he stood there for a second no introduction or nothing crowd was going fucking insane. And the arena filled up quick as hell. I thinking wtf he's the headliner I thought he was gonna close the show. But shit it didn't matter anymore the main attraction was there. Of course he did what he can do best be R. Kelly. He went through his usual intro to his concerts small medley of his collaboration hits. Did a lil freestyle at the end of You Remind Me Of Something mixed with a speech about how he was trying to figure out how can he clean up his performance knowing that its gonna be lil kids in the audience. And he was like I asked WGCI why would you want me on the same bill as lil kids I can't just sing I believe I can fly and leave. I gotta do me. And he was trying to catch himself from cursing but he than said fuck it I'm a give yall R. Kelly we gone have some fun tonight. He didn't perform any songs from Untitled or Love Letter. Line-up was very similar to LMSN tour but minus the Flashing Lights Intro... cause it wasnt a intro to his set just him coming to save the day. My guess is Jeezy or Wale was suppose to go on before him but they probably wasnt ready you know rappers always gettin intoxicated in blunted before they perform. And Kells might have heard the load boos in the back and just said fuck it I'll go first. Now on the vocals standpoint his vocals is better than ever. I mean the shit he went through turned out for the better. I know I'm jumping all over the place but hey it's my first Kells show so I'm a give it to you like this. After performing I Wish he talked about Heavy D and did the lil Heavy D signiture saying... Diddley Diddley D... and he went on saying that when he started in Chicago as just a street performer Heavy D gave him his first big break by allowing him to Open up for him at the Regal back in the day. He did a handful more hits and he actually was singing alot of the songs in entirety. Once he finished a few songs he took some time to embrace the crowd and show his appreciation of us coming to support him and supporting all his music. And conversation got more serious he explained what happened on the Love Letter tour with his voice he did not name the song but he said he hit a pitch higher than usual and he felt something pop in his throat. And he was saying how scared he was and how that whole entire experience humbled him and made him appreciate alot of things more. Which then led into I Believe I Can Fly he performed that song in entirety as well. And that boy put on a motherfucking show. He gets better vocally with time. He straight up murdered that song in a good way. Best I've ever heard it being performed by him. At one part of the song he just watched the crowd sing the song and he looked on with a smile on his face. Once that song was done lights went out crowd went nuts everyone was on they feet for his entire performance... They thought it was over but no lights came back on he did Step In The Name Of Love and Happy People... And then he did what he usually does to close go by barricade and touch the fans. Crowd was still going nuts standing ovation everyone was Screaming Kelly, Kelly, Kelly, it brought him to tears and he just thanked everyone again and that was it.

Prior to Kells performing I was just spoting all gang members sitting down through all the other performances but when Kells stepped on the stage them thug looking dudes got up like they were number one fans funny sight to see. Made me think about early post about his concert that talks about how Kells get equal love from guys as he do girls.

Bad news my phone camera was bogus so I couldn't get any real good videos or pics I really didnt feel like taking any so my sister tried her best to get some pics from her phone she didnt get good quality pics either. But atleast I have this memory in my head. Of course he was the best part of the night, my favorite part was how he saved us from boredom with no introduction just stormed the stage and rocked that motherfucker like no other.

Oh and how can I forget his next album is Black Panties he did not mention Love Letter 2 at all
