i think he should pay him. he thanked him on the slow version and the re-mix. I believe Dr Love had a big hand in motivating Kellz toward doing a Steppers cut.

maybe Henry Love did inspire Kells, but so did Marvin and Stevie and Al and Barry. should he have to pay them or their families? Henry Love must have known that by encouraging Kells to make a record, it would be KELLS who made the record. and Love wouldn't get royalties off that shit, ya dig?

I hope it all works out for our boy and Henry Love, cuz I think behind the scenes they make a good team.

I'd suggest Kells let a jury decide if Henry is entitled to any proceeds from the song and if there was a "verbal" agreement. Simply paying him off to prevent a trial only opens the floodgate to other needy people with similar inclinations.

These lawsuits are getting ridiculous now!

Real talk. Not completely playing down their friendship, but this is ridiculous. The man turned out to be nothing but a hanger-on. Thankfully, he's teaching this young cousin Rob a lesson by making the example out of himself.
