Since January of 1985, he's amassed 35 top 10 hits on R&B/Hip-Hop Songs (the most of any act in the time frame) and a total of 84 charting singles. Among those are 11 No. 1s, including "Bump N' Grind" (12 weeks at the top) and "Down Low (Nobody Has To Know)" (seven weeks) with Ronald Isley. Further cementing Kelly's hitmaker status is his staggering 11 No. 1s on R&B/Hip-Hop Albums. The R&B icon continued to post new chart achievements in 2010, as he notched his 56th top 40 single with "When a Woman Loves."

Big news, now it is a confirmed fact the he is the "King of R&B", amazing consistency and there have been many great artists in the past 25 years, for him to top all of them is very impressive.

Its unbelievable I have to comment again, I have just checked the list, he topped Whitney, Mariah, Luther, Janet and Usher among others, its made more impresive that the list even includes Hip Hop artists with Jay Z the only one in the top 10.

I'm quite surprised he topped Janet. She has the most R&B #1's of any female artist after Aretha Franklin (20 #1's).

He topped Janet because of the combined power of 11 #1 albums + 11 #1 songs and the fact that he has the most top 10 songs.
