The cover too got that old-school feel to it. Don't know why they didn't bother to put a new pic, tho.

The key is to keep the momentum. Two good signs I see compared to launch of Untitled.
1. The single's already playing on radio outlets like Heart & Soul immediately. Plenty of play from station like that is needed to fuel this album.
2. The video looks like it will be out early to get that promotion going. It took forever before Number One had a video.
The next big issue is if they keep the release a 2010 date. If the album is pushed back then the project may be in trouble.
^ You are soo right, Number One video took forever to come out.
very VERY good insight

The album I think will be out in November maybe October as long they talk about and the song is a hit it will come out this year, because next year is when Zodiac is coming out.
Thanks for the compliment. I think we all agree that if the album gets push back, we can't count on the label to provide additional promotion. He needs to get this out on the first try.

^ R Dot they are premiring the video 2day on 106th in park on bet channel. You are right it took forever for them to play the "number one" video on tv. This may be the fastest R.kelly video they are premiring on 106th in Park when the video just came out a few days ago. The internet is buzzing about this song.

(RTTNews) - R. Kelly has released the video for his newest song, "When A Woman Loves," the first official single off his upcoming album, Love Letter.
The video, which was directed by Jeremy Rall, features Kelly in black and white, giving a performance in front of a curtain and surrounded by microphones. The song, a soul ballad about a woman and the way that she loves, has a Motown-inspired sound.
"I wanted to change up my sound and challenge myself a bit," Kelly said in a statement. "I've had the concept for the video since I wrote and recorded the song. I wanted it to have a feeling of being both old and new: old for the people that remember Sam Cooke and Motown and all of those great records."
Love Letter does not have an official release date, but is slated to drop sometime later this year. The singer is expected to release the singles "Zodiac," "Love Letter" and "Epic" in the coming months.

R.Kelly To Release A Trilogy of Albums
August 26th, 2010
Despite the scandals that have ensued throughout his career, R. Kelly definitely knows how to reinvent himself every time he decides to give you some new music. Whether you like him or not you have to respect that, his longevity, and that no matter what he always has a way to keep himself relevant in an everchanging music industry for almost 20 years now.
He’s currently gearing up to release a trilogy of albums (Epic, Love Letter, and Zodiac); which reminds me what happened to that second Maxwell album? OK back to Kels…all 3 albums are rumored to be dropping this year.
Epic will be the first album released from the trilogy on September 21st. It features four new and unreleased songs in addition to ”aspirational songs and timeless R. Kelly classics,” including “I Believe I Can Fly.”
Zodiac’s first single “Tongues” featuring Ludacris was released last month.
Love Letter’s first single “When A Woman Loves” was released last week.
Then this morning I wake up to “She Knows What She’s Doin’” featuring Rick Ross in my inbox.
Definitely feelin’ the “When A Woman Loves” joint for the Adult AC crowd. It’s the 2010 version of “When A Woman Fed Up” and is defintiely classic R. Kelly. “She Know What She’s Doin” is one of those records that shows you how much of a chameleon Kels is. At 43 he still knows how to put out a record that will have the kids boppin’ without it being forced or seeming as if he’s trying too hard. I’m feelin’ this joint too.

Are we feelin’ the new R. Kelly joints? Is releasing 3 albums doing too much? SOUND OFF!
Also says right here too about 3 albums coming this year.
