Thread: what you want from R.Kelly next musically?

I agree w/ another post stating that the next album should have little to none features...I hope he arranges, produces, and writes the entire album because its apparent other producers can't deliver as well as kellz can..I hope he does stick w/ the more soulful approach because imo that's what is missing in rnb....I think he has set the bar high so I expect the writing 2 b as good if not better than on LL...2 be honest, I don't c LL2 coming out, in fact we may get the 70's album before another LL...The point I'm making is w/ Rob u never knw what your gonna get and not every1 is gonna except it....some ppl like his stepping music, some folks only like his gospel, some ppl only want Rob 2 sing about sex...etc that's the beauty of R.kelly....he makes music that relates 2 every1...and because I believe he is further cementing his legacy, his next album will be on another level....Now the "24 hrs of Sex" maybe 2 much lol but I doubt if he keeps that title or even release that album...he should just continue 2 write life and will please his audience....

EXACTLY!!! It'll be so hard for him to please everyone 100% but whatever he does, he's gonna bring it and i cant wait; whether its a sexual album, love album, relationship album, etc. I honestly think he can get away with a sexual album as long as its not too raunchy; on da love-makin tip

if the rumor about his new stuff sounding like somethin he's never done before, then im really excited! and watch all the R&B acts follow....Lol

Whatever direction he goes in won't be a problem to me. It'll be good. I'm sure I'll love it, and I'll still support. One of the things that makes him so great is his versatility. He can cover all bases when and if he so chooses. He doesn't have to do an album one type of way. He can make songs about several different things, in several different styles. Anybody else trying what he does, and it wouldn't work. He makes it work. Sometimes he'll take a turn, or even say some of the craziest things, but for him, it works.

A DVD of the LL Tour, and for the next album, being 12 Play The Return Of The Living Dead, with a whole load of bedroom songs with a bit of lovey dovey songs. With a Kanye West feature!

I don't care about any Kanye West. Bring back Mr Biggs...lol

I would say it's time for another Double Album... Another grown folks album (Love Letter/CF/Happy People Vibe) Second album (Chill Cruising Music, Sex Music, Experiment in sound as well like he always does typical R. Kelly album)... Or if not that just do whatever he wants to do for the solo album and just drop 24 Hours of Sex as a EP 7 tracks

Yes a double album would be awesome and that's a good idea...imo thats what the R album was....don't knw if the record company is gonna let him release a double disc because its expensive but it is a great idea
