Thread: What do we think Zodiac is going to bring?

We all know about Rob doing the up coming song for the World Cup.....but lets focus on Zodiac for a minute.

We almost all agree untitled was rushed and just sent to production to get something out there. Yeah it has a few tracks we enjoy but does it have..."staying power" as barry white would put it?

What is Zodiac going to bring? Why is it called Zodiac? Will it feature songs about women who fall under the signs? Will it have ballads and soul shattering songs where rob SANGS?

Or on a ugly side should we expect more rappers of the minute and club-tracks? Will this launch on rockland distributed by jive? Will jive fund this?

Honestly I'm not anticipating this album yet. But once the first single drops that's when I'll be anticipating hearing more from Zodiac. Everybody already got the hint of this being another installment of 12 Play. So I expect this one to be a step up from his past three albums. I want Kells do to do Kells. That's do what he's been doing writing his own music, producing his own music, and just think about what he's gonna say and make a statement with this album. We all know what he's done in the past he can't do it again because it's all album progression. We can't keep looking back. We ain't gone never get the TP-2's, CF, Loveland, or Happy Peoples... . We gotta get something new and fresh. I want R. Kelly do go back to the basics and write life like his mother told him to. And then he would be good. Find some inspiration other than the club & sex. I love the sex songs but I think some of them has been over the top. Straight forward he use to have a smooth way of saying how he wanted to have sex now he's saying I want to just jam it in you. Set some more trends for these wanna be Kelly's to follow. Give us fans that's been down with him all these years through all the bullshit the best album we've ever heard. I think we atleast deserve that as his supporters. Don't hold back let the real R. Kelly stand up and show these cats why you the King of R&B

^ said it all 100 %.....he needs to re-introduce himself in another format whereby both young and old can appreciate a balance of his music...a perfect balance...if zodiac is on the 12 play series..he needs album similar to TP2...com....nd add Good news to it to twist things up...yep that it do it for many out there...leave the bangers...

I'm hoping he shelves the Zodiac concept for now and just comes out with 'Life'... No holding back, just write, produce and sing his ass off about everything he's going through.

I hope Paul Riser or Larry Gold is all over the album.... I hope choirs are involved...

Yeah when is he going to release the first single for Zodiac the album should be almost completed by now.

It's a bit early to talk about this. I don't know what type of music will be on this album and if they stick with the name etc. All i know is that if he got inspired like he used to in the past his next album will be some magic.

I've learned to stop speculating about Rob's albums. I'm just going to wait and see what we get. He's his biggest enemy so hopefully he is in a "grown" state-of-mind while doing this album.

whatever we get, that's what we get. I have no idea what to expect because the truth of the matter is, things always change up for Kellz and what he wants to do with his albums.

I think he needs to reintroduce himself as well, hes got ears warm from the demo tape and untitled. However what he needs to do is burn em and make our ears on fire with some hot songs. I expect something different, something fresh. Like we always say here we wont get another CF....CF was so cool because it was different than anything he did prior.....i think he can create that magic once more

i gave up a while ago tryina guess. the new leaked song when a woman loves is great, BUT so were a lot of pre-Untitled leaks that didn't make the album cut.
