I find a lot of my friends find "untitled" more radio friendly. It has a few mixtures of other songs than just....sex, sex and sex.

I love "might be mine" on TP4Q but my buddies think the song is so laughable (which maybe rob meant it to be). But like others have said, it does have its own gems.

I think though however....a double album would have been a masterpiece if they had sold it at the right price.

For me TP4Q had high highs and low lows.....some jams on there i really wasn't a fan of. However on untitled i can listen to mostly every track and enjoy. However I wish cuts like "freaky sensation" as i said made the cut.
Yeah a double album woulda been good, or even if just a couple of tracks like Screamer and Playa's Get Lonely were bonus tracks on Untitled, I think that'd of worked. But sales wise a double cd would have probably helped more.

Only reason I prefer Untitled really is because I think it has more 'stand out' tracks- Elsewhere, Exit, Echo, Pregnant, Go Low and Religious. Where the only ones that I liked a lot from 4th Quarter were Go Low, Playa's Get Lonely, Screamer and Son of a Bitch.. an 1 of them is on Untitled anyway.
I got your eyes rolling back, finger nails in your spine.

tp4 in a blowout. untitled to me has what i call cute material, but alot of it seems contrived and a tier below RK IMO.

now neither of these albums combined is seeing Chocolate Factory or Loveland IMO.

naw i wouldn't want a double disc of this unless Kellz was going do what is happening with Prince at target and sell them for a combined 10 bucks.

chocolate factory and loveland I'd pay 20 bucks and not think twice because IMO the songwriiting production,etc.. was soulful and on point

We have had ample time to listen to both albums without a shadow of a doubt.
Do you think that Untitled was worth the wait over tp4q? Do you think even tho the CD got leaked it should have gotton more light and released as a full studio album?
To the 1st question: No...It's an ok album at best.
To the 2nd question: Yes. It woulda saved his reputation from going downhill further. Of course, for me as an individual fan, I still would like to listen to the whole album as a CD with a proper artwork and everything. I believe we'll get it someday.

Do any of you wish that we got that CF/LL treatment by having tp4q released as a 2nd bonus CD? I feel there are some gems on there that non-fans won't hear.
No. I would like to have 12Play4thQuarter as an individual release, not as a bonus CD.

Also too! If you could meld the two albums together....what would be your track listing?
Yeah I think it woulda sold and better than Untitled. It has more tracks more R&B/Soul fans would want to hear from The R.

My sentiments exactly. Co-sign on everything you said here.

'12 Play 4th Quarter' is a better album by miles IMO. It should've been released. In 'TP 4th Quarter' there's a couple of tracks I want to skip, in 'Untitled' there's a couple of tracks, maybe three, I want to play. That big is the difference for me.

Okay Okay! Just enjoying peoples replies!

    Now....

@ MISTERMAXX - I was thinking along the side of that releasing the two at $10, no way can a artist today sell a $15-$20 2 CD set unless they are icons. R is one....but not to the fans of today to spend that kind of loot.

@HELENA - You may not feel it, but it does have some cuts that could have been monsters with the proper promotion. What pains me is TP4Q didn't even get released and had TWO full videos to promote a defunct album !

I'd love to have seen the double album myself......and official release of the tp4q

if the tracks are tight and you are peaking at the right time you can drop a double disc i bet cash money right now beyonce could drop a dbouble disc and sell it. now how many tight songs is up to the buyer.

if r kelly is soulful and not coming across gimmicky he could still sell a double disc problem is that bro man has ended up catering to so many folks and also got caught up appealing and one wonders could he ever just be the pure soulman ever again without all the compromise?

a fusion of the two would have really made good waves..a double with slow jams on one disc and uptempo songs on the other...

    Okay, here I go:

Both albums had a lot of good songs on them. BUT--TP4Q's "good" songs were GREAT. Freaky Sensation, At the Same Time, Hair Braider (I love it), Might Be Mine, etc.

Untitled's best songs are be My #2, Number One, Echo, Exit, and the two songs that were already on TP4Q: Whole Lotta Kisses and Go Low.

Close race IMHO, TP4Q wins but only very very very slightly.

I liked both albums, and like some people said it would have been great if he released it as a two disc album.
