Thread: Untitled vs 12play4q

We have had ample time to listen to both albums without a shadow of a doubt.
Do you think that Untitled was worth the wait over tp4q? Do you think even tho the CD got leaked it should have gotton more light and released as a full studio album?

Are we going to look back later on and look at untitled/tp4q like the choch factory/loveland? Given because of extreme leaks a lot of folks didn't get to listen to what should have been awesome albums. (i kno i kno untitled is nowhere near what CF is)

Do any of you wish that we got that CF/LL treatment by having tp4q released as a 2nd bonus CD? I feel there are some gems on there that non-fans won't hear.

Had tp4q been released regardless of leaks would it have sold? (lets look at raymond vs raymond proving that it can happen)......i know some of this has been discussed in other threads just trying to get everyone talking !

Also too! If you could meld the two albums together....what would be your track listing ?

12Play 4th Quarter had some gems! Freaky Sensation, Heaven Chose you, Go Low, At The Same Time, Whole Lotta Kisses, just to name a few. It bothered me it didn't get released.

4thQ has gotten more play so far than Untitled. Still got love for both, Untitled is underrated.

I think R. Kelly should release "heaven chose you" as the itunes free song of the week in February.....

It should have most definately been released as a 2 disc album

Untitled & TP4 in one drop would have been massive! ... hit after hit after hit

I dont think it would have been anymore successful but I do think it would have been more critically acclaimed ... TP4 is a Kells throwback where as Untitled is modern day R.O.B so its a great combination for old & new fans alike

i def like tp4 alot better i was thinking of this the other day the only song off it i dont like is 2 seater were as untitled theres quite a fe i skip over

I agree with everything here except i'd prob throw on "Freaky Sensation"

Cool job on the title "12play 4q: UNTITLED"

12P4Q is, in my opinion, a better album. Each song moves well into the next, and even those songs that are not solid gold fit in really well and I listen to them anyway.

Untitled has a great feel and flow, but some of the songs just seem to be marketed (or something) to an audience that isn't me. But Exit is freakin awesome, what I consider to be the vibe and quality of vocals and music to expect on Zodiac. But I have been listening to more Untitled than 12P4q.

I find a lot of my friends find "untitled" more radio friendly. It has a few mixtures of other songs than just....sex, sex and sex.

I love "might be mine" on TP4Q but my buddies think the song is so laughable (which maybe rob meant it to be). But like others have said, it does have its own gems.

I think though however....a double album would have been a masterpiece if they had sold it at the right price.

For me TP4Q had high highs and low lows.....some jams on there i really wasn't a fan of. However on untitled i can listen to mostly every track and enjoy. However I wish cuts like "freaky sensation" as i said made the cut.
