Thread: Three New Albums

Since we all know there are going to be three new albums lets discuss what we may think will be on the cds...


Epic: We already know is going to be a five track EP which will have inspirational songs

Love Letters: Happy People/TP2

now where the curveball maybe is where we expected Zodiac to be .....

Zodiac: double up/untitled feel?......is that what we can expect ?


If Epic and Love Letters will have the inspirational and r&b tp2 feel to them then what other
dimensions would kellz put out an album using? Pop and hip-hop-esque music? Gospel? I think mainly pop and hip-hop......perhaps we could yearn for a stepping song but that'll deff be on Love Letters


exciting times! I just want to jump start this board and get it going !!! I also felt the other XXL thread was cluttered with comments on the articles and not so much on the albums.....so discuss everyone what they think and perhaps what they may want to see.....all is on the table

this is all speculation on my part, but i think Zodiac will be more Untitled than DU since he seems to be going in a slightly less hiphop/club direction now.

the only song that didnt fit was supaman high on Untitled.

Actually Epic comes out in September has 5 new tracks plus old inspiritional tracks like World Greatest Which leads in Love Letters coming out end of the year


R. Kelly's "Epic". Release date: September 13

On September 13, the much talked about R. Kelly Epic album will hit stores ex-US. This album is a one off collection of aspriational songs and timeless R. Kelly classics plus 4 new unreleased songs.
The Epic album was spawned off of the excitement of R. Kelly's involvement and participation in the opening ceremony of the 2010 FIFA World Cup. Epic will include the 2010 World Cup anthem "Sign of a Victory" as well as international hit singles "I Believe I Can Fly" and "Turn Back The Hands of Time" among other songs of inspiration and encouragement, see confirmed album sequence below.

Please also be aware, we are planning an end of year release of the Sam Cooke and Marvin Gaye themed (late 50's, early 60's) Love Letters album. Epic is meant to be a bridge to the all new studio album. Details and planning for Love Letters will follow accordingly.

I really just hope each project actually sets off. It's all so exciting!! He said that Epic is gonna be made up of inspirational songs and it's an international release. So I'm wondering if he's gonna release some of the songs he recorded years ago with musical styles of each region of the world or is it just inspirational ballads. Hmm

I think Love Letters is gonna be more soulful R&B like Loveland with a modern twist like TP-2 and feel good tunes like Happy People.

Zodiac is probably gonna be a hybrid of 12 Play and Untitled. Baby making and club songs and Kellz-esque tracks.

so will this not be available in the states in cd format since its an international release, so far most sites list it as an import.
