I always saw people post that Joe's version of More & More was better. I like R. Kelly's better because it was raw an uncut.
a good argument of polished versus raw and in truth sums up there musical presentation. joe always been more laidback with his.

Can't get into Joe's version of More and More like that. Not only on this one, but also in general, his voice tone just don't do it for me when he hit high notes. That's when he screeches a lot, making you think he strains to sound clear.

I agree. Joe sounds like he's struggling to reach those high notes. His version of "More and More" can't hold a candle to Rob's version. Rob's is pure raw emotion and beautiful to the ear at the same time.

Again, that's not what this thread is about. Songs written by Kells that others sang better than him... uff, can't think of any one right now. Yeah, probably "Hush" sung by Jaheim is better, as others already said.

another one that came to my mind is

    "Out Of This Club"

The final version from the PCD feat. him & Polow is so much better than his demo version with Fabolous...I don't know, it just doesn't sound right. it really fits the PCD.

Kells track for Maxwell - Fortunate

I'd love to hear a Kells version go up against Maxwells ... Maxwell really delivered on that track ...

I think Brutha sang One Day On This Earth a lil better than Kellz but Kellz did good on it to.
