R&B producer Sean 'The Pen' Garrett is a hit-maker for sure. The four-time Grammy nominee has taken the top three spots on Billboard's Hot 100 chart three straight weeks with Nelly's 'Grillz,' Chris Brown's 'Run It' and Beyonce's 'Check on It'. Only someone with that kind of Midas touch could attempt a December schedule that includes studio work with Whitney Houston and R. Kelly.

Thanx for posting, Special Kev. I don't know anythin about the producer, but from the 3 songs mentioned, hmm....I'd love to see The R. being a producer and doin his thing in the studio when Whitney reaches out to his talent. I'm really waiting for his new album-this is the first and biggest thought. And for the second, I'd like to see him producing others.

No,man,s. garrett from aaliyah album it's Steve garrett, from r&b group playa and a longtime writer from da bassment crew of devante swing (jodeci),and timbaland.

He does write good songs , but kells doesnt need his help. kellz needs to focus on making a good album without other writers, producers and rappers.

Co-sign. I'm gonna be mad as shit if Kellz has other procucers on his next album. Plus Run It and Check On It SUCKED, don't know about Grillz. R. Kelly IS a procucer, and he's great.

I don't see Kellz letting someone write and produce for him...

I dont mind him working with other producers as long as they dont churn out another 'Playa's Only'.
