What are the sales in germany? anybody knows?

That's great news. How many records need to be sold to reach double platinum status??????

I don't think there is such a thing as an international platinum certification ... but in the US double platinum means 2 million records, so let's first not deal with that.

I doubt the sales will ever cross the million. In Germany, I think platinum equals 300,000 copies. But once again, those 800,000 he sold are worldwide numbers, including the USA. Which means, in the rest of the world he didn't sell much more than about 100,000 records. I really don't see much reason to celebrate.

Same Girl has entered the charts at 32 on downloads alone in the UK, I personally think its a couple of weeks too soon as the video has only just hit the TV over here. Fingers crossed it does well

IFPI ...it's like the RIAA in the USA but only for the Europe and kellz get a platinum certification in 2004 for the double album R. (
