Thread: i would love a new Gospel R.kelly album

after hearing that snippet for chapter 18 in trapped in the closet I'd love to hear Kellz take a full band sound and cut a Gospel Project again . the way he was singing/Sanging that Church Part on Chapter 18 is what gets the most musically excited about kellz. the Brother got that church in Him and that is the Soul where I brag about him. I know when i hear it. He can sing/Sang period,but when he does the Gospel with his voice, then he is unstoppable!!

my dream project would be Kellz and Fred Hammond thrown down on a Gospel Project best of both spritual worlds.

Damn, I've just watched the TITC preview for the first time, and I gotta say the church scene is BRILLIANT! I totally see why you're coming up with this gospel album idea, cause that scene immediately generated the need for this type of music in me. What a soulful gospel performance, amazing! Yeah, I'd love a new gospel album full of tunes like this, and I don't care if it is underpromoted and sells only 70,000 copies.

Gotta watch that right now! Not everybody praise TITC, but at least, that scene will get through to so many out there and got them talkin about a lot. Things like maxxx is talkin about.

Just done watching that. You can't hear the quoir and him singin. Even for the short moment, you can be happy just imagining the sound, tho. Where can I hear the snippet for ch.18?

I wouldn't mind a gospel themed R. Kelly album in the future. Just not as one of his next few projects though.
