Raindrops, it's a bit too sugary for my liking. Don't get me wrong, I like romantic songs, but if it's extremely romantic like in classical poems, I can feel embarrassed. Of course, it's a different story when I'm in the mood for something romantic.

For some reason, this one makes me think of rainy weather as the backdrop of whatever story that is being told in the song. To give you a few examples,...
1) a man is talking to his woman on the phone telling her the things in the lyrics while the rain is pouring outside. Private, intimate conversation between the two in love. Strictly judging by the lyrics, the man gots the hots for her like, he can't hold back the feeling. Well, in a nutshell, it seems like tonight's the night.
2) Here's a couple far away from each other and they're thinking of each other and feeling down and happy at the same time. Feeling down, becuz they're a pair of distant lovers. Feeling happy, becuz they're making all these plans for all the things they'd do when they get back together again.

Yall know the video has a strong effect. The thunder and rain and stuff.

Strip For You
The raindrop sound got nothing to do with the reason why it's chosen. Rather, it's got a lot to do with the whole vibe. I think I'm probably one of those women who find rain sexy as the background of lovemaking. You know, while the outside world just seems to get you down with all the rain and wind, it's cozy once inside, with the one you love, like it don't matter no more whatever's goin on outdoors. This kinda thing. This, either in a literal or metaphorical sense (--->true love can help couples to become stronger than ever, no matter what they're going through.)
Now, I'm not the type of person who would make my man strip for me or anything like that (I mean, he's my man, not an entertainer. It would feel awkward and unnatural if I ever get myself into the situation), but I can appreciate the sentiment he's trying to deliver here.
