Thread: Double Album?

me and Exit were talkin about Kells' soulful music and his club music and how we like both. Exit said an even mix between both is ideal.

so.... here's my idea:

Rob puts out a double album, with the first disc being soulful R&B, and the second being club bangers. each CD would have exactly 10 tracks. an even split.

thoughts?????????

Sounds good, would probably boost sales aswell cos of the bigger appeal.

I'm really hoping I Know You Got a Man makes it onto one of the upcoming albums, think that's my favourite song from Kellz this year

it would be an event album, just needs to get promotion. i wanna see posters tacked up on street corners like i saw when DU came up.

Make the club cd with a few slow smooth songs like I Know You Got A Man, 3 good Headboard banging tracks, 4 club songs and we cool

I think that would be ok but it would be kind of hard packaging an album like Love Letters with club-influenced tracks.

^^this is for clarity: this is not a thread about LL, it's about a hypothetical double album where everybody can give their ideas about the description i originally posted.

it's an imaginary album idea that i came up with (with some help from Exit).

so it's just a fantasy concept we can all think and talk about. TALK being the key word—lurkers, you know who you are.

but the second disc needs filling Olga! even though you don't like the club songs Kells does.
