Thread: Crazy vs. Grub On

I was having a discussion with a friend on which song is better "Crazy" which was suppose to be a song for Usher or Grub on by Trey Songz..

Which song do u think shows off Kellz writing skills the best?

If both songs were released as singles, which song do u think would hit big?

Do u think both songs are lackluster?

Personally, I prefer Crazy over Grub on...One reason is because Crazy seems like a more serious song and it shows off kellz storytelling skills...IMO, I felt Grub on was a throw away track that kellz gave Trey..

I dig Grub On but yes Crazy has a story behind it & wouldve been a bigger hit. but you never know, a sexy Grub On video done right mightve been a hit as well.

neither. the stuff kellz had for mj makes those two songs seem like cupcakes

Neither. I can say I like Grub On better, tho. That doesn't mean I can put one over the other songwriting-wise.

In between the two songs I like Grub On better but its just like a throwaway from Double Up sounding similar to Sex Planet... Crazy would've been more successful on a commercial level though. Can't lose with his conversation songs

I think so too..Crazy would of been a bigger song because Usher is the bigger artist and I know jive would of hooked him up with lotta airplay and flash video lol

I like "Grub On" more, I love them slow jams
